E308 Bus Route — Stadium Bus Station, Dubai to Al Jubail, Sharjah
The E308 bus route is one of the newest Dubai–Sharjah intercity services. Operated by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), it runs from Stadium Bus Station in Dubai to Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah. It launched on 2 May 2025, giving Al Qusais and Al Nahda a direct Sharjah bus connecting straight into the Dubai Metro at Stadium station.
The one-way fare is AED 12, buses run daily roughly every 30 minutes, and payment is by Nol card. Below are the full stops, first and last bus times, fare rules, and how the E308 differs from Sharjah’s separate 308 bus — two routes often confused with each other.

Al Jubail Bus Station to Stadium Bus Station (Sharjah to Dubai)
In transit listings, the return is shown as direct — only Al Jubail Bus Station 2 and Stadium Bus Station 2, about 33 minutes. The intermediate stops above are listed for the Dubai-to-Sharjah direction only. If you need to board elsewhere in Sharjah, check live departures in RTA’s S’hail app first.
Stadium Bus Station is next to Stadium Metro Station (Green Line), making this an easy bus-plus-Metro route for Al Qusais, Al Nahda and Muhaisnah. Al Jubail is Sharjah’s main intercity terminal, with onward city and intercity buses.
E308 Bus Timings
RTA announced a daily 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM service, every 30 minutes. Detailed directional times in transit listings are close to that, with an earlier first bus from Sharjah:
| Direction | Days | First bus | Last bus | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stadium Bus Station → Al Jubail | Monday–Friday | 5:20 AM | 11:25 PM | Every ~30 minutes (26–34 min in listings) |
| Stadium Bus Station → Al Jubail | Saturday–Sunday | 5:30 AM | 11:30 PM | Every 30 minutes |
| Al Jubail → Stadium Bus Station | Monday–Friday | 4:36 AM | 11:15 PM | Every ~30 minutes (27–33 min in listings) |
| Al Jubail → Stadium Bus Station | Saturday–Sunday | 4:36 AM | 11:36 PM | Every 30 minutes |
Source: RTA-feed transit listings (Moovit); RTA’s headline hours are 5:00 AM–11:30 PM daily. Times can change on holidays, so check S’hail on the day — especially for first and last buses. Allow extra time at peak hours: a 33–40 minute timetabled journey can take much longer in Al Ittihad / Al Wahda rush-hour traffic.

E308 Fare and Payment — Nol Card
The E308 fare is a flat AED 12 for a one-way journey, in either direction, confirmed by RTA. There is no separate Sharjah section fare to add on this route.
- Pay with a Nol card — tap in when you board, as on other RTA intercity buses.
- Make sure your Nol balance covers AED 12 before boarding; Metro travel from Stadium is a separate fare.
- Cash is not the payment method on RTA intercity buses — do not rely on paying the driver in cash.
- Sharjah’s Sayer card is not used on the E308. Sayer applies to Sharjah SRTA city and intercity buses, not to this RTA route.
E308 Is Not the Sharjah 308 Bus
Search results often mix these two routes up, and some websites publish them as if they were the same bus. They are not:
| E308 (this route) | 308 (Sharjah SRTA) | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | RTA Dubai | Sharjah SRTA / Mowasalat |
| Route | Stadium Bus Station, Dubai ↔ Al Jubail Bus Station, Sharjah | Jebel Ali / Ibn Battuta area, Dubai ↔ Al Rolla Terminal, Sharjah |
| Fare | AED 12 | Around AED 17 (per SRTA listings) |
| Payment | Nol card | Sayer card / cash — Nol not accepted |
For Ibn Battuta or Jebel Ali, take the SRTA 308 from Al Rolla. For Stadium, Al Qusais or Al Nahda, take the E308.
Tips for Riding the E308
- Use Stadium Metro Station: the fastest way to reach the E308 from most of Dubai is the Metro Green Line to Stadium, then a short walk to Stadium Bus Station.
- Board early at peak times: morning Sharjah-to-Dubai and evening Dubai-to-Sharjah buses fill quickly — arrive one departure early.
- Check live times in S’hail: RTA’s app shows live departures and route changes.
- Keep your Nol topped up: at least AED 12 before boarding, plus balance for onward legs.
- Use Al Jubail for onward travel: change there for Sharjah city and other intercity buses to Rolla, Al Majaz, Muwaileh and beyond.
